What Is A Pyrolysis Scrubber?

Pyrolysis is a process where you use extreme heat (usually a plasma arc) to break down some substance into its constituent parts. In this case I think it would take something that is probably dangerous and breakdown that chemical into its basic elements to make it inert.
In a more basic sense maybe it is just a cleaning system that uses high heat to clean or scrub some substance (maybe even similar to an autoclave.)

  1. Where was this term scrubber used ?

    Could it mean condensor, ?

The condenser train of various types of reactor unit vary greatly, dependent on what they are designed to optimize, gas, oil ,char etc

Most pyrolysis reactors are closed-loop , the only GHG emissions are when gas or oil are combusted for exported energy.
